This website deliberately uses as few cookies as possible. Below, we explain honestly what this site actually stores on your device — no analytics, marketing, or tracking cookies, only the essentials.
What this website does NOT use
We do not use analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics), marketing or advertising cookies, or any cross-site tracking. There is no "statistics" or "personalisation" cookie category on this site, because the corresponding feature simply doesn't exist.
Your cart and reservation/order details
Your shopping cart is stored only in your browser's local storage — never in a cookie — and never leaves your device until you actually submit an order. If our reservation or ordering system is temporarily running in its lightweight demo mode (before our full backend goes live), the same applies to your reservation or order details: they are only cached locally in your browser and cleared automatically after a short time.
Session cookie for our staff
When a member of our team signs in to our internal admin area, our server sets a technically necessary session cookie (marked HttpOnly and Secure) so they stay signed in for their session. This cookie is only ever set inside the protected admin area — regular website visitors never receive it.
Embedded Google map
On our Contact page we embed a Google Maps view so you can see our location directly. When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies under its own policies, which is outside our control. The cookie notice at the bottom of the screen lets you choose whether the map loads; if you decline, we show only a link to get directions instead.
Spam protection on our forms
Our reservation, ordering, and chat forms can use a spam-protection component from Cloudflare (Turnstile). It only becomes active once we configure it on our server; when active, it may set its own cookie to distinguish humans from bots. Because the affected forms cannot be reliably protected against abuse without it, we treat it as strictly necessary and don't offer a separate opt-out for it.
Contact form
Our contact form can optionally be sent via the Formspree service; if that isn't configured, the form instead opens a pre-filled email draft on your device. Neither path sets a cookie in your browser.
